Getting started with EV charging

At home

If you’re the owner-occupier of a flat, or you live in a rented property, you may be eligible for a grant towards the cost of installing an EV chargepoint. (Unfortunately, this doesn’t currently apply if you live in a single-unit home – the EVHS grant came to an end on 31st March 2022.)

At your workplace

If you own a business or organisation with staff, you may be eligible for a grant towards the costs of the buying and fitting EV chargepoints under the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS).

At a rental property you own

If you’re a private landlord or a provider of social housing, you may be able to get funding towards the cost of buying and installing EV chargepoints at your property.
